If you could conjure up marketing genius with a simple ‘You are an expert’ prompt, wouldn’t we all be wizards by now?”
I’ve recently seen my fair share of AI hocus-pocus promises — ‘expert’ advice, just one prompt away. But let’s cut through the smoke and mirrors. Is prefixing an AI prompt with ‘You are an expert’ really the spell for success, or are we just fooling ourselves?
According to The Verge, ChatGPT has 100 million weekly users, but many still don’t understand how to wield its power properly. So, a torrent of cheat sheets flood the web, tempting users with the illusion of instant expertise. You’ve seen them — you too can conjure marketing expertise with a mere phrase, as simple as saying “Abracadabra!”
As in “you are an expert chief marketing officer. Your task is to write some killer engaging blog content.”
Or, “you are an expert creative director at an agency. Your task is to develop a viral campaign.”
