We are already aware that any kind of textual information is available around the world, through the internet or books. In the case of the Internet, all we have to do is enter the textual query we would like to search, and voila! It appears. These are all strings from a computer science perspective. Search engines use many algorithms to make sense of all this information and make searches more efficient. Now the question arises: what is an algorithm?
