One of the hottest topics in AI in recent times are agents. They are essentially the next iteration of LLMs (large language models) that are capable of taking a prompt and then carrying out specific tasks with some understanding or context of the outside world, to achieve some goal, without the need for human supervision.
For example, Anthropic recently announced that it had taught its Claude AI model to be able to complete a range of tasks on a computer, such as search the web, open applications and even input text using the keyboard and mouse.
Although agents are still in the early stages of whatβs possible β the concept of being able to have a symphony of multiple agents (with different capabilities) collaborating together to complete independent, complex tasks, or workflows doesnβt seem too far-fetched.
