What’s the best laptop and does it even matter?

I always get asked what’s the best laptop for data science?

Now, to be honest, it doesn’t really matter, and the best laptop is the one you have; it shouldn’t be a barrier to learning data science.

However, I think some laptops have advantages, and I personally have my preferences. So, in this article, we will explore what laptops are out there and the best one, in my opinion, for data science.

There are three main operating systems out there for desktop computers:

Windows — Part of Microsoft and was launched in 1993. Most people have this as their home PC due to how user-friendly it is.MacOS — Part of Apple was launched in 1984 and is UNIX-based. Only really available on Apple products and is popular with coders and creatives.Linux — Technically, it’s not an operating system itself; it’s a family of related operating systems based on the Linux kernel. As it is open source, it’s customisable and used mainly by tech-savvy people.
