Academic data science programs do a great job to provide a rigorous training in fundamental data science and machine learning. A typical curriculum for academic training in data science would include foundational courses that are designed to teach essential skills. Most of these programs would culminate with a capstone project.
In most cases, the capstone is a project assigned by the instructor, or proposed by teams of students, or it could be an individual project. Over the course of their final semester, students work to conduct and execute the project, then do a final presentation of… Read the full blog for free on Medium.
