How to Create a Simple and Practical API with Python and Flask

Flask is my favourite Python web framework by far. It’s often described as a micro-framework for its bare-bones style — a style I really appreciate. It’s scalable and simple. It has great documentation and can be used for a wide variety of applications.
I’m going to assume that you have Python installed already and that you have set up a working environment (if you haven't — just do it and stop being that person).
