For the past year, I’ve been working with our company’s core developer group on the push to adopt AI coding assistants. As part of a dedicated team evaluating their impact, I’ve rolled them out to our engineers while also using them daily in my own workflows. This has given me a unique vantage point on the promise — and the pitfalls — of AI in software development.
