Llama 2, the next generation of our open-source large language model

This will be a quick one, Meta releases the new version of LLaMA. This version will be known as LLaMA 2 and will be free for both research and commercial use. This is a release from Meta and Microsoft together.
I think Microsoft wants to corner all 3rd party LLMs and keep them as SaaS on their own platform as a commercial offering. Now OpenAI and LLaMA both will be part of the Microsoft offerings.
We’re including model weights and starting code for the pretrained model and conversational fine-tuned versions too
