How I added voice functionalities to ChatGPT by combining speech recognition and text-to-speech

Generative artificial intelligence models have gained immense popularity and are now widely used. Simply from a browser, you can get comprehensive answers, create complete PowerPoint presentations, or produce hyper-realistic images. Among all, ChatGPT stands out as one of the most popular free generative models: Its ability to deal with complex questions and challenges makes it a valuable tool in multiple contexts. While the utility of ChatGPT is unquestionable, integrating vocal functionality would improve the interaction between users and the model. In this article, I describe how I developed a voice assistant based on GPT.
