Falcon-40B is a foundation model that is not tuned for a particular purpose. It is a “base” model that could be fine-tuned to whatever purpose you would like to finetune it for. Recently topped HuggingFace’s LLM leaderboard https://huggingface.co/spaces/HuggingFaceH4/open_llm_leaderboard
