So, what exactly is prompting? In a nutshell, it’s communicating with AI through written text or other content, such as images. For Sander Schulhoff, creator of learnprompting.org, prompting is all about understanding how to communicate with machines in a way that’s “socially intelligent”, much like you would with another human. This new skill is what Sander calls “artificial social intelligence.”
