Good morning, AI enthusiasts!

After building three free courses, sharing hundreds of videos and articles, and publishing a soon-to-be-released book on AI for production, we are excited to finally launch our business-to-business products to help teams adopt AI and bring the latest capabilities into their organizations. We will primarily focus on two fronts: customized corporate AI courses and consulting.

The courses can be for managers (high-level and practical skills for better management) or for technicians (skills to know, techniques to master…, etc.). We will build custom courses tailored to the companies’ fields to help them leverage current AI tools and/or implement advanced systems for their problems.

If this sounds cool and you think you can help us with teaching & consulting, reach out to me at [email protected]!

Learn AI Together Community section!

Featured Community post from the Discord

Weconnected created a tutorial on installing multiple AI models with Ollama and Open WebUI in Dockerocker. This guide consolidates all necessary steps for efficiently setting up WSL, Docker, Ollama, and Open Web-UI and navigating various functionalities. Check it out on GitHub and support a fellow community member. If you have any feedback on improving it, share it in the thread!

AI poll of the week!

10–30 minutes is a sweet spot if you are aiming for progress and consistency. What topics do you focus on for everyday learning sessions? Tell us in the Discord thread!

Collaboration Opportunities

The Learn AI Together Discord community is flooding with collaboration opportunities. If you are excited to dive into applied AI, want a study partner, or even want to find a partner for your passion project, join the collaboration channel! Keep an eye on this section, too — we share cool opportunities every week!

1. Tinus530 is looking for collaborators for an AI-powered project. The project will focus on harnessing the power of AI to generate labels for the energy efficiency of houses. If you’re want to be a part of this or curious about the project, connect in the thread!

2. Akeshav wants to do research in economics and public policy using AI. If you are available and interested in something like this, reach out in the thread!

3. Amjad1982 released a tool called BabyTorch, a minimalist deep-learning framework that mirrors PyTorch’s API. It is an open-source project; if you want to contribute, contact them in the thread!

Revolutionizing Autonomy: CNNs in Self-Driving Cars by Cristian Rodríguez
This article uses the convolutional neural network (CNN) approach to implement a self-driving car by predicting the steering wheel angle from input images of three front cameras in the car’s center, left, and right. The architecture of the model used was developed by NVIDIA for its autonomous navigation system called DAVE-2. The CNN is tested on the Udacity simulator.

Our must-read articles

1. How to Optimize Chunk Size for RAG in Production? by Mandar Karhade, MD. PhD

The article examines chunk-size optimization during the development of a RAG application, assuming that it is a business-specific use case. It also observes how and where generic approaches to chunk-size finding can fail or excel.

2. Intro to DSPy: Simple Ideas To Improve Your RAG by Gao Dalie

Language models often need help with reliability issues, short memory spans, hallucinations, and difficulty updating knowledge. DSPy is a framework designed to address application issues based on language models (LMs), prioritizing programming over prompts. This article provides an easy-to-understand explanation of DSPy’s overview: what makes DSPy unique? How is DSPy different from LangChain or LlamaIndex? and even build an actual application.
