When I started learning Artificial Intelligence (AI), I often see such an illustration (Fig. 1) that described the relationships among three important concepts: AI, Machine Learning (ML), and Deep Learning (DL). I’m certain that you can still see it somewhere. In such an illustration, it appears AI includes ML, which includes DL. Such a deduction, however, may not be right.
