Today, in an open letter signed by tech industry leaders, including Elon Musk and Steve Wozniak, artificial intelligence labs have been urged to halt the development of AI systems more powerful than GPT-4, OpenAI’s latest large language model.

The letter states that such advanced AI represents a risk to society, and there needs to be a six-month pause in developing these systems.

In addition, Elon Musk, one of OpenAI’s co-founders, has been critical of the organization, stating that he believes it is straying from its original purpose. This is an important issue that requires thoughtful consideration and discussion.
